We asked ten local artists from each of the featured cities to create an illustration reflecting the city, which gives every city a different look and feel. For example we asked Supersonic, a Shanghai based designer, Parisian designer Alexandre Godreau, who’s part of the 100 designers to follow on Behance, Kristopher Ho from Hong Kong who is widely known for his intricate detail, and London’s Charlie Davis, featured in Illustration Served.

In order to make sure that the tips are really useful, we collaborated with Lonely Planet and also relied on the illustrators knowing their city.
